I Am The Walrus |
Sounds like a way to go out of business really quick and lose a lot of money. I could see a Glock or AR store working if they sold accessories, had gunsmithing services, and had a very high volume. That's a lot of ifs, though. _____________

For that matter, there's a smith in AZ that works only on 1911s. I came across it on youtube. But those aren't "one gun" shops. They've focused on a particular niche to be the known "experts" in everything S&W revolvers or 1911s but there's still plenty of variety of guns in each of those focus with big enough markets to keep them busy. There's not much time or expertise needed to sell any particular gun compared to working on a particular gun. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Those aren't just one gun businesses, they're mostly one employee businesses too. Low overhead and can often be run out of the basement. Car dealerships have a number of other profit centers within the building. Finance and leasing with the new and used car sale area, parts and service. Most or many gun owners do much of the service and modifications on their own guns and the whole internet world is out there for parts and accessories. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.
