Are there one gun gun stores ?

Sounds like a way to go out of business really quick and lose a lot of money.

I could see a Glock or AR store working if they sold accessories, had gunsmithing services, and had a very high volume. That's a lot of ifs, though.

For that matter, there's a smith in AZ that works only on 1911s. I came across it on youtube.

But those aren't "one gun" shops. They've focused on a particular niche to be the known "experts" in everything S&W revolvers or 1911s but there's still plenty of variety of guns in each of those focus with big enough markets to keep them busy.

There's not much time or expertise needed to sell any particular gun compared to working on a particular gun.

Those aren't just one gun businesses, they're mostly one employee businesses too.
Low overhead and can often be run out of the basement.
Car dealerships have a number of other profit centers within the building. Finance and leasing with the new and used car sale area, parts and service.
Most or many gun owners do much of the service and modifications on their own guns and the whole internet world is out there for parts and accessories.
