I’ve been crying like a little girl all day. I’m so sad. My dog is all I have, all I love. I’m not ready to be alone in this world, it will crush me to loose him or have to put him down, it breaks my heart to see the best friend I’ve ever had suffer. Tomorrow will tell.

I can certainly empathize with your comments. Been thru this before with my Retriever and Setter, I was a basket case, even at work. Now I've recently bonded with a cat, man I'm a sucker for animals. I've said a prayer for Kodak and will continue praying for the best possible outcome.

Regards, Will G.

Thoughts and prayers for you and Kodak. Drinking water and keeping it down is a really good sign. Hang in there and keep us posted.

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11

My prayers are out to you and Kodak
I still get a tear in my eye when I think of my buddies that have went to what I consider the animals version of Fiddler's Green.

Drinking water and keeping it down is a very good sign.

Please keep us updated

Praying for Kodak. ✝️❤️

Heavenly Father, Please help us in our time of need, You have made us stewards of (name of pet). If it is Your will, please restore him (her) to health and strength. I pray too for other animals in need. May they be treated with the care and respect deserving of all Your creation. Blessed are You Lord God, and holy is Your name for ever and ever.
Amen

It is with great sorrow that I return with an update.
I was forced to euthanize my best friend this morning. It was clear after a long very difficult night that he had lost the will to live and wasn’t going to recover and that the best thing I could do for him was to end his suffering.
I am so sad. I’m 59, retired, never married and no kids. My dog was my only companion for the last 12 years and he provided the only joy and happiness in my life. He will be greatly missed. My house seems so empty and quiet.
My only consolation is I’m sure my dog knew he was loved, that I did the best I could to give him a good life and that he shall suffer no more.
I give thanks to God for all the many blessings he provides for us each and every day. And I hope one day in heaven my dog will run up to me, jump up in my arms, lick my face, and say I’ve been waiting for you, now we can play together forever in Gods glorious presence.
