Hope they got them down to 80 or 90 decibels. Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Neck Ties, Hats and ammo brass, Never ,ever touch'em w/o asking first

Reached above Mach 1 three times with no supersonic db at ground level. So, down to 0 decibels. ![]() "the meaning of life, is to give life meaning" ✡ Ani Yehudi אני יהודי Le'olam lo shuv לעולם לא שוב!

Fifty-six years late even if it went into service THiS year....playing catch-up with aviation history is not something that the US of A is used to doing. And for sns3guppy, it was shitty runway maintenance that killed Concorde, not lack of engines.

When it goes into service, will the pilot still be wearing a parachute?

That’s not the plane they plan to put in service.
Isn’t the history making part the lack of an audible sonic boom for people on the ground? Was the Concorde capable of that? The last time I saw a Concorde, it was giving rides to Canada where it was allowed to break the sound barrier over land. That’s what you said and he agreed with 3 1/2 years ago. This message has been edited. Last edited by: trapper189,

some great cockpit videos shot during test flights - my favorite was the one where they deliberately induced flutter into the systems to see how it would respond that some serious flying going on there
