As they say, ”What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”

You seem to be proof of that. Keep on keeping on, you got this.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

Yup, bad shit happens to everyone....it’s how you react to it and work through it makes you a fighter. Not letting it define you is the key.

Prayers for your grandson.

Thanks for posting. Sounds like a pretty rough tale. Sounds like you have made the best of things. Life is never easy IMO. Sometimes it is much harder for some than others.

I used to have the title thread quote “never give up” hanging in my bedroom as a kid.
I completely agree with Mike.

Wow you have had more than your fair share of hardship but it seems you have persevered which has turned into many blessings. It should only get better from here.

I believe that was probably difficult to write here, but probably also somewhat cathartic. You have indeed weathered some storms, some of which might cause a lesser man to throw in the towel; but you’re still here. That’s a testament to your character as well as the positive influences in your life. Of course, negative ones also shape who we are.

Prayers for your grandson and the whole family. Stay strong! Thanks for sharing.

CONGRATULATIONS! You sir, are a rock star.

You overcame, and now have a million things to live for. I remember your posts about building your place in Arizona and the sunsets with your dog.

You made it. Live well.

Every man has a story and, at least, you were able to put it in words succinctly.

I feel you on making E4 three times. But, at least, you made it through.

Take care.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

But, by creating unhelpful and vague thread titles, you guys are defeating the purpose of our measures meant to insure that your own discussions stay on track.

Look at the thread title. What does it tell you about what's being discussed in this thread?

How will anyone reading it know it's not about someone's dog having an accident on the floor? Or soliciting advice on how to get wine stains out of white carpet? Or what to do when you launch your AR lower pivot pin detent into hyperspace?

Before you post, please make your thread titles germane to the conversation you intend to have. It helps everyone including your fellow members.

Give it a rest bendable. The thread title here is just fine.

And as Hobbs rightly pointed out here:
https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...950083974#4950083974
...you're an offender yourself.

This multi-bumping of threads campaign you're on today is not engendering a lot of love from the membership at large!

You would have been far better off expressing sentiments to the OP and best wishes for his grandson in this thread than a cheap admonishment!
