I think Para would be a great NRA director - and I think he’d never do it, unless we strong arm him a little bit.
I think we may have the numbers to get him on, provided we all only vote for him.

Being a somewhat silent member of this forum, but visiting nearly every day for the past twenty-five years. I get the impression if that was something he wanted to do it would have been done. I voted "NO" out of respect of his right to privacy to live as he wishes. However, I do agree that The NRA still needs a shakeup from the top down.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

And this is what the OP in the other NRA board thread does not understand- we need new board members to lay waste to the status quo in that gutless organization. That severe changes, radical surgery, is needed for gun owners to trust the NRA again.
