Perhaps no one else is concerned about the progress we see in that video, but I am.

I see the tools of a consciousless police force or invading army.

You'll need a deuce and a half to run them over. Bullets won't do it. By the time we get to that, they'll be the size of compact cars and then, there won't be any stopping them.

Disturbing to think that such amazing technology might be used in a manner that wouldn’t benefit it’s creators. I wonder if this might be a step towards enabling paraplegics the ability to live their lives like able bodied folks.

Oh, I am very concerned! While the technology is amazing, the first thing I said when showing this to my wife and daughter is "Just imagine if these were turned loose on the American people...", and THAT is my concern! Nothing I have in my safe is gonna stop one of those, and I can just see our current government "weaponizing" them against us!

Virtually nothing good will come from these efforts.

But now we've probably got no choice but to keep it up, much like Nuclear weapons.

Our enemies are no doubt doing the same kinds of development or worse.

Yeah, fuck these things and most everything like them.

Just like with airplanes during their infancy it’s all fun and games until someone puts a machine gun on one, then warfare as we know it has changed drastically.

I am pretty sure that cute robot would not survive a 7.62 mag dump.

But - as they evolve and become enhanced?

Armor, faster, stronger, self-aware. Eek
