Just goes to show that Commies never learn. Didn't raise my blood pressure one bit, except when I laughed upon hearing the idiot owner's demise. Ha-Ha!

I like how they’re now lumping libertarians in with conservatives. Keep pushing those two together and the united front will smoke the commies for years.

I worked for Panera during part of those 5 years (night baker.) I kept getting the corporate line on it from emails and flyers. Never heard from them when they closed the bakeries, though, but a friend told me about it. Funny, one of my co-workers there moved to Seattle because he found Lexington too conservative. Lex and L-vile are the only two liberal towns in KY. By percentage, Lex used to have more gays per capita than San Francisco, but I don't know if that's changed. I left that area and moved pretty much to the country.

He sure hates a lot of people, for raging against what he calls misanthropic capitalism.

Are you sure you don't just suck at life, there, Mr. Poopy Pants?

Libertarians have a lot of values which some might consider, conservative? /DrEvilPinky]

Essentially anyone who thinks differently than he, and that means most people- most of the Western world and a good portion of the rest.

This is an individual who has benefited his entire life from the framework he claims he wishes to destroy. He's a hypocrite, an asshole and a complete loon.

That's why this "have a debate" or "start a conversation" stuff that comes from the left is the purest form of hypocrisy- utterly, truly meaningless blather.

Maybe if they read "Animal Farm" they would think differently. Heck, there is even a cartoon movie of it from 1954 available for free:

from the statement: ..."The Anarchist has been a huge success in every way I hoped..."

Well that's good then. I had the sads because they lost their business and their money. But they got everything they hoped for so there is still joy in my life.

Denial of the truth is a leftist pillar foundation. All the proof anyone needs is this moron celebrating the collapse of his business.

“Unfortunately the lack of generational wealth/seed capital from ethically bankrupt sources left me unable to weather the quiet season, or to grow in the ways needed to be sustainable,”

Translation- nobody wants to invest actual money in a doomed-from-the-start house of anarchists.

I saw a video that said people in America spend 10 times more money on their pets than they do on charitable donations.

My pets provide me with joy and companionship. Thanks to getting taxed morning, noon and night, my charitable donations have fallen to near zero.

I believe Panera is a franchise. That policy may have been the franchisee's decision/policy, not Panera corporate.

When they closed the last one down, they said they were covering 85% of their costs.

So instead of making money, it was losing 15% a year.

They only have 2100 other stores to write the loss off against.

Income is over two billion a year and they still shut it down.

A happy ending and a hard lesson in economics, regardless of belief system.

Good grief these assholes never quiet with their 12-point word salads
