Besides PASig I mean. I know you’re watching.

I was down at my parents house near Valley Forge, PA watching the Phillies game since my sister was in town from North Carolina and our TV had just inconveniently died the night before anyway Confused

We actually left to get on the road because the kids were getting tired while the game was still looking pretty bad for us, but as we drove home, it all turned around and wow that was quite the turnaround!

I have a powder blue Phillies Bryson Stott jersey and feel like I should be wearing it today. That guy has struggled all season but BAMMM turns the whole game around for them.

I found the Spanish announcer version of this today and it’s hilarious these guys get SO excited! Big Grin

They do get excited. Cant understand a word they say though. Of course that won’t stop me from watching Yanet Garcia do the forecast, but that’s another story. Wink

I’m sorry to say it but the Phillies are way too bipolar and just can’t hit a friggen baseball to save their lives. It’s like they’ve completely forgotten the concept of small ball/situational hitting and only try to swing out of their shoes trying to hit home runs. It’s going to be their downfall just like the past two seasons. They don’t deserve to advance any further until major changes are made.

The Mets have an annoying habit of clawing their way out of bad situations. I’m not sure what it is but it’s aggravating.

It really pains me to say this but you can just see it in every Mets player’s face; THEY WANT THIS

They’re scrappy and hungry and fighting for their lives.

Contrast that to most of the Phillies players who look disinterested, bored, like they don’t even want to be there. Swinging at crappy pitches over and over, most of them getting paid tens of million dollars a year to do what?

I was never a huge baseball fan even though I played it as a kid growing up.

When I was going to tech school in Los Angeles I had a student ID card and that would get me into a Dodgers game for $8. It was a hell of a haul on the RTD to get from Inglewood to the park and back but it was an adventure.

I guess I was lucky to see as many games as I did with Yeager, Garvey, Baker, Cey, Lopez, Russell, Sax and of course watching Lasorda flying out of the dugout to argue a call with the ump.

I sort of lost interest in ball when I moved to NH and everything was Red Sux - sent to a couple of games at Fenway and it just wasn’t enjoyable.

Royals fan here, quite a turn around season for them since they sucked so bad last year. October baseball is always fun to watch.

After their torrid start, the Phillies went 51-51 in their last 102 games (includes the 4 NLDS games.)

Anybody but the Doyers. I've always like the Pads, even with insufferable clowns like Machado and Tatis, good to see that stadium rocking, it's a fun place.
