Yes, that is true. And I am sure the Army has decided that is a worthwhile recruiting tool and morale booster. Do we object to active duty soldiers participating in the Olympics, and even getting financial assistance? I don't think that assistance was what the complaint was aimed at, which was imagined federal support for Olympic programs in general for civilians. That doesn't happen.
