Someone heard you! I saw a Mr. Dot Bar at Ace Hardware yesterday. Apparently the bars come in dark, milk, and white chocolate over crushed pretzels.

Ace only had the white chocolate. Of course I had to try it. It's too sweet, but I don't care for white chocolate. I imagine the dark chocolate is pretty good.

When this thread started, I purchased a bag of original Dot's and tried them. They were.....just o.k., and had no plans to purchase anymore. the other day I saw a small bag of Honey-Mustard Dot's for sale, and purchased them......WOW!!! I really like them and have already purchased a large bag. I have yet to try Dot's Southwestern favored pretzels, and will if I can find a small($3.00) bag.

That is interesting. I really don’t care for the honey mustard or the southwestern flavors, the original are what I enjoy the most and buy.

I do have a concern that chocolate covered Dots might end up tearing a hole in the space/time continuum though, those have to be utterly delicious!

Is it chocolate covered original pretzels, or the chocolate bar I saw when I looked it up after reading your post? Chocolate covered Dot’s pretzels could be very dangerous!!!!!!! What a combo!

I love the original and I like the Cheese Curls. I tried Southwestern and didn’t like them. I forget if I tried the Honey-Mustard so I guess I better try.

The Mr. Dot bar is definitely a candy bar that has finely crushed pretzel in it. It's more candy than pretzel.

I think chocolate covered Dot's pretzels would be fantastic!

I use the bagged Dots crumbs/dust as bread crumbs substitutes in meatloaf. Word of warning though you don’t need to add salt if using them.

Has anyone noticed that the pretzels seem to be shorter and skinnier now?

Not really a complaint, just an interesting observation as I have been eating them for several years now and just got a new bag and they seem different.

It’s still a 1 pound bag so my guess is that Hershey retoooled the production to make them more efficient or something to make.

Just you wait.

General Mills ruined Gardetto’s Snack Mix. Not even the rye chips are the same anymore. It’s what these big companies do when they buy out the little guy.

Dang it! A member here got me going on Dot's Cheese Curls, and now I can't find them anywhere. It's all an insidious plot I tell you. A grand conspiracy of the highest order.

Southwest flavor for me. Our local Safeway has stopped carrying them, so I order them from Amazon or Blaine's Farm and Fleet.

I see them in Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware, Walmart, and other places locally. Publix groceries, but they (Publix) are not in your area.
