Interestingly enough, Mrs. Flash bought some at the ACE hardware store yesterday. I don't like pretzels, but I definitely like these and they even have a little bite, Jalapeno perhaps?

Here's a recipe Mrs. Flash uses to treat regular pretzels (not Dot's) that is great and again, I don't like pretzels but I love these.

2 Bags of small twist pretzels (about 16 ounces each)

1 bottle of popcorn oil (12 ounches Orville Redenbacher Popping Oil-DO NOT SUBSTITUTE

1 ounce packet powder Hidden ValleyRanch Salad Dresing and Seasoning Mix

2 Teaspoons garlic powder (not garlic salt)

½ Teaspoon lemon pepper

Directions:

1. Pour bags of pretzels into a large bowl. Sprinkle ranchdressing packet, garlic
powder and lemon pepper over he pretzels. Pour bottle of popcorn oil over pretzels.

2. Gently stir to coat the pretzels. Stir every 15 minutes or until the oil doesn't
pool at the bottom of thebowl (about 2 hours). The pretzels will eventually absorb the oil
and the spices will coat the outside. Can be made days ahed. Store in airtight container

I'd seen them at Ace Hardware but never took the plunge. This post enticed me to sample a bag last evening. This thread should be entitled "You will buy Dot's Pretzels". They're that good.

OMG! These things are great, expensive, but oh so good. $6 for a one pound bag, I'm sure we will buy them again.

Been reading about them here but not having had a chance to try them until my wife and daughter brought home a few bags of “NEW!”, “light & CRISPY Rounds” by “Snyder’s of Hanover” in “Butter Flavor” - “Mini Pretzel Balls”.

Looks like they felt it was necessary to go out of their way to explain what’s in the bag.

Anyhoo, as other’s here have opined they are pretty good!

The msrp on the 12 oz. bag is $3.69 but our local ‘Grocery Outlet’ was selling them for $0.99.

Cookster,

Honestly... apples to oranges. Dots are in a whole different class than Snyder's.

Just an FYI, I see you’re near me

The Dot’s I was given at Christmas were purchased at the Shady Maple Market, part of the Shady Maple restaurant complex (across the street I think?)

I love Dot’s Pretzels!

Another interesting and tasty “pretzel”: Keebler FlipSides (cracker on one side, pretzel on the other). About the same size and shape as plain Keebler Townhouse crackers. I keep both Dot’s and FlipSides in stock.

I usually put something on ordinary crackers, but Dot’s and FlipSides are so tasty that I usually eat them bare.

Serious about crackers

At first when I saw this post originally I could not find them anywhere and had to order from Amazon. Then I found them at target. Now my local grocery store, HEB, carries them. I am very happy and have turned so many people onto them.
