Chick-Fil-A is the closest fast food restaurant to my office, its within eyesight, I can drive through parking lots to get to it. Pre-pandemic I used to eat there at least twice a week, sometimes more. I haven't been there since the pandemic, at all. I've also lost over 15 pounds.... I wonder if those two facts are related. They do make a good chicken sandwich and I am impressed at the efforts they make at keeping their drive thru as efficient as possible.

I swear the chicken sandwiches at the popeyes in the town I live in taste like fish. I never have had a chick-fil-a, the closest one is about an hour away. But they are building a chick-fil-a now in our town so i'll finally get to try one.

I had a Braums chicken sammich when last I was down to Ok. and it was just the head on a roll. Just a chicken head. Was a little crunchy and the feather quills were tough to swallow. Must have been a rooster cuz that red rubber thing on top the head was very rubbery.

I've never had anything other than ice cream at Braums so I can't say anything about their chicken sandwich, but I can say that Braums has some really good ice cream and it's cheap too.

While not the Lord's chicken which is unobtainable here in Alaska, tried the hot honey chicken sandwich ar Carl's Jr. Actually pretty damn good and as a bonus, it's got bacon!

I don't know. Does Popeye's serve fish? Also I'm not the only one in my family that thinks they taste fishy! By the way I love Long John Silvers

Chick Fil A chicken sandwich is the only sandwich I eat without ketchup. I think it is perfect the way it is. 2 pickles and a soggy bun, mmm

I reached their highest rewards status on the app the other day...proud moment... ha.

I just like CFA! I went there today to pick up breakfast (we have a friend in from New Mexico) and the food was perfect.

What I like is they are unfailingly polite, courteous and friendly.

I like their chicken sandwiches, but today was a bacon and sausage day-excellent!

My wife and I love their food. They have been good everywhere I have been in the D/FW area since they arrived in a then new mall (since demolished) in 1979.

I shouldn't be surprised that there are locations out there that basically suck. Especially considering the labor situation.

My local Chic-Fil-A's, however, are fucking awesome. They actually seemed to thrive during the pandemic and an all drive thru business model. Exceptionally fast and efficient. The one place that they don't 'fuck you in the drive thru'.

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11

I've never waited more than five minutes. Confused
The one in my AO usually has a line 2 deep around it and the wait time is still only about 15 minutes. They put order-takers outside working the cars in the inner lane snd the food is ready by the time you reach the window. Very efficient.

I like Popeye's chicken and their sandwich. We had one open here a few years ago and it was chaos right off the bat. I figured it was just being new and growing pains. Nope. I've been there maybe 10 times and waited 15-20 minutes each time. I've been the only car in line twice and still had to wait.

Chick-fil-A, on the other hand, can get 30 cars through in half the time and their sandwich is good.
There is a Popeye's 1/4 of a mile from my house and I used to go through their drive-thru and get 2 mild breasts or 8 tenders and an order of green beans. When they stopped offering green beans I changed to the Golden Chicken a bit farther away. I've not had the chicken sandwiches either one sells.

CFA is a couple of miles away, but I like their sandwich, nuggets, and noodle soup. The service is excellent.

While nothing new for most of the country, CFA over the last 10-years has been slowly infiltrating into the territory of its most ardent opponents out here in the West; and there's no shortage of customers to patronize each location Big Grin . They make a tasty sandwich and if In-N-Out is not available or the line is too long there, I'll opt for some Hate Chicken and their delicious simple sandwiches.

There's not a lot of fast-food near me but, a number of fast casual restaurants have fried chicken sandwiches on the menu, most are good, there's a few that do a very good job. Raising Cane's is slowly opening locations, I've never heard of them but, I heard their specialty is fried chicken tenders. Bojangle's I've only had at airports, not bad but, not exactly a good sampling. Popeye's fried chicken sandwich is the only thing I'll order from them and its probably their best value, almost twice the size of CFA. I've not come across a Popeye's location where you didn't need to bring a pistol with you though.

I really love Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, but I absolutely don’t care for the waffle fries. I RARELY eat at McDonalds but I do have to say they have the best fries ever! Combine the two and you have the ultimate meal. The next best chicken sandwich I have had is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich at Whataburger. I did like the sandwich from Popeyes but I would put it in third place.

Totally off topic, but I won’t forget when CFA was only in malls and not super popular. I enjoyed them, but saw it as mall food. First time I saw a free standing location I laughed. How wrong I was.

Their fries are terrible. Fries are a salt delivery method and it doesn't stick to their fries.
