PASig, you must go in the morning and try their chicken on a bisquit...prolly spelled bisquit wrong again.. It is a wonderful sandwich. Better go for 2! Only needs a little dabble of honey to make it even better. CFA chicken on a bisquit is the only chicken I find apealing in the morning. Damn I'm wanting those now.

This... Line for CFA near work was relatively short at 1:12 PM so I took a chance. Usually you cant even get int he parking lot. They couldnt get the food out fast enough so people were camping out in line waiting for food, blocking up the entire line. Finally they got smart and told people to drive and park and wait for the food. I was on the inside of two lanes and couldnt just drive away without ordering. Took me damn near 20 mins for 2 fricking sandwiches. I wont say never again but never at this location def not anytime soon.

Raising Cane's does a chicken sammich. I mean they just thrown some chicken fingers on some bread with some dressings, but if you like their chicken fingers, the sammich is gtg too.

CFA delivered about 400 meals a day for a solid 2 weeks during the rescue/recovery effort in Western KY to first responders and rescuers. No charge.

CFA is king of the chicken sandwich. I love Bojangles cajun filet in its own way. You are right, Popeyes is the closest I've had so far. I keep thinking about trying out CFA but never seem to get around to it. KFC makes what they call a "Classic Chicken Sandwich" in original and spicy that is OK, but recent substantial price increases (from $3.99 to $5.49 in two months) have rendered it not economically viable.

Told cops where to go for over 29 years… |
This - CFA has it down to an art. I can have 15 cars ahead of me and still be through the line in under 10 minutes. Even better with the app. Pull in, tell them space number and food is brought out in about 3 minutes. Just wish they would reopen for indoor dining again in my area. What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

I wish that they would do that in this area. Here, I can order with the app and enter my payment information, but there are only two options to actually receive the food:

I’d say Zaxby’s is a contender after Popeyes. Raising Cain has the tender title…but I like Joella’s tender better.

There's a chain of restaurants called PDQ that are as good as Chick-fil-a, but I believe they're only in certain parts of Florida.

I am a big fan of CFA. Both daughters worked there. One daughter met her future husband there. In the fair county of Henrico, though, the CFA on Pump Road and on West Broad Street both have become a shell of their former establishments. Last night I paid $12 for a sandwich, fries, and an Arnold Palmer. The sandwich was filled with bits of overcooked and watery grilled chicken, and the bun surrounded stiff and chewy bacon, mealy tomato, and wilted lettuce. The fries were actually burned on their perimeter, with black charred ends. However, the fries were cold. The bathroom toilet seat was covered with urine. The entire restaurant floor was filthy with grease and debris. Cars were stacked around the perimeter of the two-lane drivethrough. Delivery drivers were coming in grabbing huge black insulated bags of food orders. Business was booming. CFA will come to a reckoning, soon. No staff, unqualified staff, lack of quality control, and the never ending chaos found at the locations here someday move customers to more flavorful sandwich purveyors. ------- Trying to simplify my life...

2 of the last 3 chicfila chicken sandwiches I got had blood vessels in them. Disgusting and I almost threw up. I won't get those anymore. Besides Braums chicken sandwich is better.

I like Popeye's chicken and their sandwich. We had one open here a few years ago and it was chaos right off the bat. I figured it was just being new and growing pains. Nope. I've been there maybe 10 times and waited 15-20 minutes each time. I've been the only car in line twice and still had to wait. Chick-fil-A, on the other hand, can get 30 cars through in half the time and their sandwich is good.

1. Slice (or pound) chicken breasts to desired thickness. 2. Marinate in 1 cup of water and 3 Tbs lemon juice (ratio). 3. Dredge in: 1 cup Flour 1 Tbs powdered sugar 1 Tbs cayenne 1 Tbs black pepper 2 tsp salt 1.5 tsp garlic powder 1.5 tsp Slap-Yo-Momma 1 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp celery salt 1/2 tsp rosemary 1/2 tsp dill weed 1/2 tsp Aleppo pepper 1/4 tsp basil 1/4 tsp thyme 1/4 tsp celery seed 1/4 tsp turmeric 4. Dip in 2 eggs with 1 tsp Tabasco. 5. Re-dredge in above mixture. 6. Fry in lard (or grease of your choice, but lard is what the Lord intended) in a cast iron skillet to desired done-ness. 7. Serve any way you like, but I prefer a burger bun with Ranch dressing, lettuce, a slice or two of bacon and bread and butter pickles. 8. Thank me later. 9. You're welcome. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

I love the one with the honey barbeque sauce! I'm not really a chicken fan, but man - I love that combo! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Per the OP, "The Chick" (as my family calls the place) is the one chicken sammich to rule them all. But Popeye's is pretty good too...
