Yep - all that money will now be poured into Trump attack ads. I’m sure he is pissed and ready to blow another billion.

That meme with the helicopter cracked me up to the point of me laughing my ass off. I hope they keep coming now that he's bowing out of the race. There have been some really good ones. Big Grin

the best news is that every dollar he spent on his aborted campaign is a dollar that he can't spend on anti-second amendment crap directly. So let him spend on losing causes.

But its sad that we won't get a lot more mini-Mike tweets from our esteemed leader - those were classic tweets

Me thinks the title should perhaps be changed to "Mini Mike done prepared to exit the Democratic Primary fray. Then did it."

With Bloomberg dropping out , what will happen to his campaign cochair - former Baltimore mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake ? (who let her city burn down by rioters)

and to

" the list of mayors, former mayors and other party officials who have endorsed Bloomberg this year, you note that many of them have these same things in common. They were previous recipients of generous donations from Mike and they are superdelegates."

Bloomberg is situated to influence things in the DEM nomination process. Maybe his backup plan all along was to help Biden and buy himself a very friendly potential president.

This campaign did serve a useful purpose.

The deranged leftists say that $100K in Facebook ads bought Trump the election against Hillary.

We now have real world proof that even $700 million can't buy or sway an election.

The Citizen's United decision was absolutely correct.

The campaign served another purpose, as well. It showed Bloomberg that money can buy a lot of things, but it can't buy a personality.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

Can someone more tech savvy than me cue up Kramer (Seinfeld) video where he walks in, puts down his money, and says, "I'm out."?

Sure, they got a nice payday (one presumes), but if they're reading the tea leaves, it should be clear to them that Mini-Mike isn't going to be the next POTUS. So, they've cozied up to a loser and pissed off the Virginia voters doing so. What happens next election? Karma's a bitch.

I've been wondering the same thing. With all the money he's dumped into Virginia General Assembly races over the past several election cycles he couldn't even muster 10% of the vote.

After getting butt-hurt that bad I wonder just how enthusiastic he's going to be about giving Virginia Democrats more money.

I'm hoping the relationship between them is irreparably damaged. In particular I hope that Virginia Democrats no longer feel obligated to pursue Mini-Mike's agenda.

You know the problem they say with Democrats isn't that they can't be bought. The problem is they don't stay bought.
