I don't know what he spent in 2012, but I am sure it was very little. In 2016, he spent about $300 million total, including the primary and general election. He forced the media to give him free air time with his rallies. I am not sure how Bloomberg ever amassed billions of dollars as a businessman. Given his deep involvement in China, I have to wonder exactly what he's done. . | |||

between a half billion and a billion dollars, possibly more, the price of hubris. It was his money, he can waste it how ever he likes, but I can't not think of the good that could have been done with that cash. How many orphans could have been sent to community college, or trade school? How many meals delivered to seniors, or how much medical research? That sort of casual waste of wealth should be an insult to the class envy folks, but instead they will celebrate this guy. | |||
