Yes, sunrises or sunsets.

Our bedroom window faces east. We get up with the sun, year-round. Moon rises in the east are also very beautiful.

Depends if you are watching them voluntarily.
In bootcamp they would march us to the Atlantic to watch the sunrise….not so much fun, especially if they marched us into the sea and you have to tread water in formation.

Aboard one ship I had the 4-8 watch, I’ve seen a buncha sunrises, and guess what, I had the 16-2000 watch TOO! So I got to see it go down….

But now it is very nice to watch the sun set. I prefer to sleep in.

I catch both most days, I prefer sunrise due to it's exclusivity.
