The ex-boyfriend, 31-year-old Larondrick Macklin, is now held in the Morgan County jail with bail set at $300,000. Macklin is charged with two felonies: burglary and domestic violence, according to court records. The situation happened this past Thursday at the woman’s home on Wimberly Drive in southwest Decatur. Police were called to investigate a domestic dispute. Macklin was at the scene suffering burns on his face, said Decatur police spokeswoman Emme Long. An investigation revealed the ex-girlfriend threw a pot of grease on Macklin after he went into her apartment and brandished a pistol, according to court records. After getting medical treatment, Macklin was taken to jail.
