Oh, and almost forgot I did some digging on the interwebs and found my Dad’s basic graduation pic. Not very clear but, all I can find. Cannot find his “real grad pic” but, I do have his Tech School grad pic.

Better her than me. Congratulations. I’m discovering what life is now for me - watching the younger generation move up. I’ve had my chance.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Yup. My job is to stay alive and healthy and pass on what I can to the grandkids.

This tread brings back some nice memories, I stayed at Lackland AFB after basic for AP training ( Air Police as we were called in the early 60's ) Once I got to my duty station I did a lot of 'stuff' until a slot opened up in the K-9 group. Of all the different postings that was the most rewarding.

Your daughter has done great !! Please keep the posts coming. You go girl !!
