I found this Lucky Gunner video very enlightening. I'm sure many of you may already have this knowledge "in your pocket", but I didn't, and I think it brings some value to the subject of CC for some carriers that goes well beyond "better to have a small gun than no gun at all". The video is 10 mins with an intro by a master class shooter/instructor, followed by Lucky Gunner's Chris Baker's comments.

I bet some of us may not be aware of this information and perspective in the same way that I was not either, and would like to hear your guys thoughts about this particular subject.

Once I switched to pocket carrying my P365 (9mm), after having a gun on my hip 24/7 for 14 years, I don't know why I didn't sooner. I no longer carry on my hip, and have no desire to ever again. If I want little smaller/lighter, the BG 2.0 is perfect and .380 works for me; plus, the size of the gun is on par with guns carrying much smaller calibers. I also keep my LCPII (w/7 round mag) around for when I go walking/jogging around my neighborhood.

Pocket carry is a viable option provided your clothing "dresses" for the gun. For me, its jacket pocket most of the time. The Yoop has two seasons:
Winter and August. So a jacket is used often!

I wear shorts pretty much year round and have been pocket carrying for years.
I used to carry a LCP but upgunned to a 365 a few years back. It sits upright in a sticky holster between my leg and my cell phone. The cell phone breaks up any outline that may print.

The 938 Legion is my go-to now (post-striker fired era). I'm amazed at what they've been able to do in a package that small. I still holster carry -- thin Kydex style. Anything larger becomes much less easily integrated into my life.

I have carried large stuff since i started carrying. One time a Para 14-45 was my carry gun (that thing was heavy, a double stack 1911 in 45 acp holding 14 rounds). Recently I upgraded my G43 to an Sig AXG Legion due to the extra capacity. But, lately I tend to carry a Turkish mini 1911 in 9mm or my S&W 9mm revolver or the Kahr PM40 due to size.

Smaller is better most of the time but if I a traveling or going to areas where I have a higher probability of needing it I will carry the Sig. So far avoidance has done more to keep me out of situations where I would need a firearm than what I am carrying ever has.

I always have the Spanish Inquisition (NAA Pocket Revolver 22LR) in my change pocket.
It's loaded with CCI MaxiMag Varmint 1600fps JHP.

I have to admit that ( as currently carried) I am/ would be far more competent with my J-frame in a pocket, IWB or OWB holster than with the little .32 semi auto, or NAA .22 in pocket holsters. .

My thoughts are that this should have been posted in the pistol or conceal carry sections.
