Our dealer has a plain model not for sale.
Sticker says $50,275.00 MSRP plus 10,000.00 adjusted market value= $60,275.00 before taxes.

Soon chips will return, and production will ramp up, factories need to build things, when they do those that paid way over MSRP will be way under water with their vehicles.

Several factories are at least making verbal overtones about not liking dealers marking up vehicles, but in reality there's nothing they can do about it.

Some of it is greed, some of it is survival for dealers, when you don't have 300 cars to sell in a month, you need more revenue per car to cover the nut...

One of our local Ram dealers has a TRX at $40k above MSRP. About three weeks ago it was $60k above MSRP.

I don't know anyone that will pay MSRP for a Ram, even a TRX, let alone $40-60k above retail. That, by the way, would be $140-160k for a Ram pickup truck. I thought the local Toyota dealer was bad at $13k above MSRP for a TRD Pro Tacoma.

They've been watching too much Mecum and BJ auction footage.

I get it though, you sell it at MSRP and everyone runs their Bronco, TRX, Corvette to the auction house and sells it for $30 to $40 over to someone with more money that wants it..

Why should the dealer not get in on that extra money too, HD did that in the 80's when demand outpaced production, it's capitalism, if you don't like it then you don't participate.

One of the Ford dealers here had one to show, not sell. Did not like it. Felt small inside, and seemed cheaply made. Interior felt cramped, and didn’t care for the way things were set up.
It had a couple neat features, but not enough to offset how we felt in it. Didn’t drive it, but sitting in it , meh.
I like slightly bigger vehicles in an SUV anyway.
And, good heavens, the prices. Yuck.

Cute. Care to explain why? AFAIK, there’s never been a Bronco that approaches it in capability.

Unless he's thinking of the Bronco Sport, which is Escape-based, but still fairly capable from what I've read, at least in the Badlands trim.
