| And Memorial Day! I wish I had such documents from my Dad, who served with the OSS in WWII, but, if they ever existed, they are gone along with him almost 45 years now (not lost in combat). My family still holds much love and gratitude for all he did for the world, our country, and our family. |

Page late and a dollar short
| My dad served in WWII, started in the Signal Corps and from what he said an altercation with a sergeant awarded him with a transfer to the 10th Armored and Field Artillery. Last campaign he was in was Bastogne with a side hospital trip.
