You have to wonder about the sanity of people in a government that would regard an offender so potentially dangerous they'd commit re$ource$ to keeping an eye on him 24x7x52, but would neither kick him out of the country, keep him locked up, nor terminate him.

Then justify their actions in light of the fact he was given enough latitude to manage to stab seven innocent people, anyway.

You also have to wonder about the sanity of an electorate that would elect people responsible for such clearly irrational thinking.

A state so disconnected from reality that it would rather blame its citizens for its own blatant failures should not exist. New Zealand might be ripe for the taking but who wants to rule over a nation of submissive cuckold losers?

It may not happen in my lifetime (and I don’t really care if it does or doesn’t) but I predict that nation will fall to an even more authoritarian country. How anyone could be proud of being from New Zealand is beyond me. Fuck that state and its worthless government. If it’s citizens had any balls they would have already pushed back hard.

Man, I'm telling you, you might want to take a look at your fellow Americans before throwing that around. Seriously. We have nothing to brag about. Just take a walk through an airport and tell me we're not a nation filled with compliant sheep. I'm sitting in the delta sky club at Philadelphia right this moment. Why am I not in the Centurion lounge? Because I was just threatened with removal by way of airport police because I was not keeping my mask on and simply pulling it down between sips of my drink. I opted to leave on my own accord.

These people, like this Percy Wetmore type trash who threatened to remove me by force for not covering my face, only have power because the majority of people in this country allow it. We are not so far removed as a whole from the every day Australian and New Zealander I fear.
