Beauty is in the eye / ear of the beholder...... National Anthem should be preformed as written. ..... Musical artist who fail to do so and add their personal touch then they have to just live with those who thinks their performance stinks..... My 2cents. .................... drill sgt.

Here's another...The 2023 rendition from just two weeks ago!



Apparently this is an annual tradition that's been going on for over 25 years!

Just mesmerizing...More than 500 students attending a choir conference sing the National Anthem in unison.

Middle School and High School students at the Kentucky Music Educators All State Choir Conference belt out the Anthem from the landings in front of their hotel rooms at the uniquely shaped Hyatt hotel in Louisville, KY. The 19-storey hotel has a lobby perfectly shaped to provide amplification and acoustics for the singing...And the results are truly amazing!

Apparently this tradition is performed by the students at 11:00 PM on the first night of the KMEA Convention annually. The build up in anticipation of the Anthem begins shortly before 11:00 when the students emerge from their rooms to begin warming up and getting in tune...And they do it on their own without any guidance!

Simply Beautiful...I Love this Country, and I have a new found love for the State of Kentucky!
