Alright Para, I see wheat you're getting at. I haven't watched the NFL for 4 years now but since I grew up in PA and loved the Eagles since I was a kid I thought I'd watch but apparently I got sucked in by the propaganda.

The NFL figured they'd use someone like Stapelton to sing the Anthem and make me say that him (and they) are awesome for having him on and they cater to people like me, but it's the complete opposite. They're woke and promoting an agenda that I completely disagree with but I got caught up by his rendition of the Anthem. They pulled one over on me...

You think that's what I'm saying? That you're stupid?

What I am, is disgusted.

Now, why would you post something like that and then immediately delete it?

I can take this private… I deleted the post because I didn’t want to be that aggressive. I’m trying to temper what I’m saying in order to make the point effectively.

Anybody who thinks I think I'm something special, you're mistaken. I am as flawed as any man here. I've made more than my share of mistakes in this life. I say stupid things and do stupid things, just like everyone else. This is the unadulterated truth.

I can't do anything about the world, but, this venue, this one little place with all the SHIT surrounding it- I can do my best to make it to be what I wish for it to be.

As I said, the mistake is mine. No one can read my mind.

I am simply completely disgusted with this super bowl shit and I should have gotten ahead of this.

Since you titled your thread with the question mark, "Best National Anthem ever?", that is invitation to opinions. So, I offered mine. Simple. Wink

I hear that the "Black National Anthem" was performed at this ballgame? What the fuck does that mean? Roll Eyes

It is interesting that woke leftist bullshit, social justice manure gets shot down in this forum all of the time, but for some strange reason, the Super Bowl gets a pass, because it's football.

I’ve stayed away from the NFL as much as I can, but my son LOVES it and studies the stats. It is weekly bonding time for us and something I look forward to every week. I enjoyed the game tonight, (no real rooting interest) but felt like the refs tried to be the stars of the game again. That holding call on Philly was ticky-tack (especially at that point in the game) and taking away the Chief's TD after the fumble was B.S. too.

I apologize, para. When I wrote, in the third SB thread, you'd surely appreciate a fourth one, I didn't think anybody'd actually have so little sense as to create one <smh>

Your sarcasm is noted, you don’t want discussion of the game? Cool. I was not aware that you’ve been deleting threads or I would not have posted in this one.
