Early voting ended tonight at 7 PM (a few slacker counties ended at 5 PM).

Just after. People will still be pissed, but they won't be in panic mode to the point of being unwilling to stand in line and vote.

I concur. Election day should be moved to April 15th.

Razz Yeah, it's been a while since anyone's made political capital out of being skinny, having brown hair, and having big, irregular teeth that way. "Look at meee! I could be the Bobby Kennedy that might've been!"

The Project Veritas video of O'Rourke's campaign staff is making its way into the mainstream media Smile

I’m concerned. I think Puto O’Roark has a chance. Ted needs to run ads refuting some of the lies Puto says.

I'm not so worried about TX. It's AZ, NV, and FL I worry about. We should be keeping/picking up all of them, but it's very close.

There are no undecided votes at this point and nobody is going to be swayed by these ads.

The most recent poll in Florida shows Scott ahead of Nelson by 5.

I'm not sure how Facebook handles this, but I'm seeing paid ads for Beto in my feed, and the comments are 10:1 negative for Beto. The Cruz posts I'm seeing are 10:1 positive for Cruz. I don't know if FB is somehow filtering comments based in my political preferences, but it looks like beto is gonna get spanked.

I see a bunch of Beto signs in my neighborhood, and very few Cruz signs. But when I talk to people they are reluctant to put Cruz or Trump signs in the yard be because of vandalism. Either the signs get stolen, or shit gets broken.

Williamson County early voting was huge compared to previous mid terms. It can't be just motivated democrats. Round Rock is generally pretty conservative despite the proximity to Austin.

I don't think it'll be nearly as close as the polls indicate. Open borders has direct consequences for our schools and kids that we are already dealing with.

I'm willing to believe that, but, by my finely-calibrated hairy eyeball, the line at the local polling spot this morning was running about an hour and a half to an hour and forty-five minutes, SO GET AND VOTE TODAY IF YOU HAVEN'T VOTED YET!!

If nothing else, the local good guys could always use a little more support in the voting booth.

No line at my polling place today. I was voter number 249 at 1100 hours. Took about 10 minutes total (I don't use the "straight ticket" option and there were a lot of little ovals to fill in with the Sharpie pen....)

O'Rourke forgot he is running in Texas. Not Pennsylvania or Virginia, or perhaps even New York.

Uh-huh. Perhaps he noticed that Hill the Pill never bothered to run for office in Illinois (and certainly not Arkansas!) because she had the Carpetbagger slot nailed down in New York. They say 'Bater isn't done with politics when he loses in Texas - I kinda wonder if he isn't polling to pick a new home state by dollar contributions, or whether he isn't already planning to run somewhere in the Northeast.

That is certainly the way it is here in wackyland. The Progressives are super aggressive. Put any Trump or similar sticker on your car, sooner or later it will be vandalized. Lots of people I know do not like Cali politicians, but do not advertise their views for this reason.
