There are usually swing dancers at the America’s Finest City Dixieland Jazz Festival each year Thanksgiving weekend. Unbelievable! Some are quite acrobatic even. It must take years to train and practice. Someone who wasn’t could get seriously hurt doing that stuff. There was a woman who caught my eye last time I was there. Silver hair, slender, somewhat older than me, maybe mid-70s, very nicely turned out. I don’t think her butt ever touched a chair. She was out there every number all weekend long in whatever venue was the most popular. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent.
