There are usually swing dancers at the America’s Finest City Dixieland Jazz Festival each year Thanksgiving weekend.
Unbelievable! Some are quite acrobatic even. It must take years to train and practice. Someone who wasn’t could get seriously hurt doing that stuff.
There was a woman who caught my eye last time I was there. Silver hair, slender, somewhat older than me, maybe mid-70s, very nicely turned out. I don’t think her butt ever touched a chair. She was out there every number all weekend long in whatever venue was the most popular.
