We lost Frank a little over a year ago, he was 14 and not in great health, 14 is elderly for a mini schnauzer. His brother has somewhat recovered. Losing a pet is trash. A pet is a family member. It is so very difficult to lose one and I am so sorry for your loss. Cherish the memories you have together. I know that doesn’t make the loss any easier. She probably was feeling pretty bad as animals always try to put on a good face and there was no way for her to recover so you helped her end her suffering and will see her again. RIP Izzy.
