What is the soup du jour? |
The most surprising thing, to me, is the woman was only 37 years old.

In the video, it looked like she had a couple of carts worth of stuff. I just got 9 items at BJs, it was $150 and they didn’t even cover the bottom of the cart.

And she's probably pissed she got cuffed and couldn't raise her fist in the air on the way out - last great act of defiance. _________________________________________________________________________ “A man’s treatment of a dog is no indication of the man’s nature, but his treatment of a cat is. I’m sorry sir, but couldn’t make it past about 3.5 minutes. Anyone who manage the whole video has much more patience than I. Around 3.5 minutes in the video, while I was still marveling at how far the security guy retreated before clocking her, I couldn’t take her anymore and bailed. Thank you for posting, and especially for posting the gif. That will be good for a laugh for days.

Step by step walk the thousand mile road |
You are far nicer than I am about to be. This entitled twatwaffle had the unmitigated audacity to compare herself to Mrs. Rosa Parks? What an insult to the memory of Mrs. Parks. I'm serious, that was one of the worst insults I've ever heard to the memory of someone of historical significance, like Mrs. Parks. I've read a few of Mrs. Parks biographies. Mrs. Parks was a dignified, well-educated, hard-working married woman. In addition to her domestic role as head of her household (in the 1950s, the wife generally ran the household), she worked a full-time job while simultaneously working as an advocate for civil rights, becoming the secretary of the Montgomery chapter of the NAACP. That is basically THREE full-time jobs, all done without computers, email, smartphones, or social media. Twatwaffle, on the other hand, demonstrated her lack of personal dignity, lack of proper education (e.g., in history, morality, personal responsibility), and willingness to resort to violence (at the very least intimidation) to get something for which she has not worked. I cannot picture Mrs. Parks behaving this way. Ever. No matter the history or provocation. Mrs. Parks was a true lady, as were the vast majority of black women of that era who I've known here in America and in Africa where I lived as a boy. I also cannot picture Mrs. Parks using intimidation in the way twatwaffle did. She used her skin color, socio-economic status, and her physical size in an attempt to extort free groceries as "reparations" from Target. Note also that twatwaffle did not intimidate the black female cashier who rang up twatwaffle's groceries. Listen around 4:30 for that part of the story. I can only guess as to why. I observe also that the cashier was incredibly lucky that a store manager happened to be walking past when twatwaffle began her attempt to extort. I sum it up this way: Twatwaffle needs to formally apologize to the memory of Mrs. Parks. Professor Peterson spoke once about what is needed in an apology that is meaningful. The specific case involved an extra-martial affair, but the core concepts of the amends process involves: (1) Making "a detailed and compelling accurate, differentiated, causal account" of your bad actions (in the case he spoke of, the betrayal was the affair); (2) Exactly what happened; (3) The multiple instances it happened [if any]; (4) Explanation of your entire set of motivations; (5) Why you were so angry you thought that this betrayal was acceptable; and (6) Why you were so impulsive and shallow the betrayal was justifiable. Each of those have to go all the way down to the level of the betrayal itself. Then, and only then can accepting full responsibility for your actions be manifest and a plan put forward indicative of the willingness and ability to change. Twatwaffle could do any of those things. But she has not, because twatwaffle is the kind of person Mrs. Parks' abhorred as a disgrace to her race, black and human. Finally, I hope the security guy who defended himself against twatwaffle's increasingly bizarre behavior: (1) Is taught never to retreat into a space from which you cannot escape, even if you are armed. Had twatwaffle been so inclined and had the means, the security guy could have been the victim of a shooting that occurred in the security office. (2) Is not fired from his job for defending himself. I give the odds of his continued employment at Target at 25% chance, even though twatwaffle was convicted of a misdemeanor. She said "He's gatekeeping me." so many times I was expecting one of the officers to ask her if she thought he was the Gatekeeper(poor Ghostbusters reference) or I was watching a bad Monty Python skit. Her ignorance is astounding and the officers responding to the call should be commended for the way they handled the situation. I for one would have not had that type of patience with her.

Back, and to the left |
I have to keep these things in at least some perspective. Comparing herself with Rosa Parks is not as bad an example as say, comparing Pearl Harbor and 9/11 with the J6 horseshit. If it turns out she is actually mentally ill, it would certainly not shock many. My feeling is in agreement with those who say she knew exactly what she was up to. With renewed talk of 'protected classes', 'reparations' and general anti-whiteism, many members of the demographic that dare not speak its name are trying out just about any opportunistic bred idiotic idea that drips off their tiny brains. They think anything is possible. Hell they might be right on that. It's just opportunism really. Throw it against the wall and see if it sticks. She truly thought she could bully and bullshit her way to robbing Target. I don't however, think she believed they would or even could arrest her dumb ass for trying this crap. Letting her go without charge would have reinforced a bad message to try variations of the same crap as much as ya want. By her, everyone she knows, talks to or watches her stupid assed vlogs or whatever.

She is not mentally ill, nothing to suggest that. Just another ENTITLED individual looking for a handout.

Yeah, she was just “standing her ground” - right up until the point that security guard made sure she wasn’t standing anymore. __________ "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy."

If she is mentally ill she goes for an evaluation because she did not know what she was doing was wrong. Other than demanding reparations which I have heard before I did not see psychotic behavior. From what I see she was going to be booked at the police station.

Having dealt with people like her before, I'll say she is likely not mentally ill. In other words she doesn't have a significant diagnosed condition like schizophrenia, likely not bi-polar, probably not psychotic. She is playing a game. She wants free stuff and is going to do whatever it takes, or shroud it in whatever her feeble mind can dream up to get it. Yes, she is out of touch with reality because no business is going to support her goals. No one knows whether she honestly believes this, but most of them that I've seen pull this will drive it as far as they possibly can. I'll also bet that she often gets her way by being loud, obnoxious, aggressive, and pushing people around. I'll also guess she knows exactly when to pull the victim card. It's a well practiced routine. In this case, her plan encountered the unexpected and everything went awry. I wonder how long it will be before she tries it again. What is it that you would hope for me to say? What would satisfy you in this regard, so that I might be allowed my layman's opinion- which, by the way, is based upon the sum total of my decades of experience as part of human race? I say she's nuts. You say she's not. What would make you happy about this? Because I have news for you- no one is swaying me from the evidence before my eyes. I don't need to be a health care professional to render an opinion about this fruit cake. Long before their was a mental health profession, human were passing verdict on the sanity of those around them. I have a database all my own I am using, and it's called having lived for a long time and having seen everything under the sun in terms of human behavior.

I respect your opinion. I have just seen so many entitled individuals act in this manner for a free lunch. I do not wish to argue the point.
