If you watch the entire video and listen to the mountain of bullshit coming out of this woman's mouth, you'll see that this woman is not sane. Nietzsche called people like this "intellectual epileptics" - their mind has seized upon ideas that have driven them crazy.

All this "have a conversation" and "have a larger conversation" nonsense and "gatekeeping" and "bubble up" and all the rest of the ridiculous shit she was spewing indicate that her preoccupation with her race and the race of others has made her nutso. Her little riverboat captain has fled the wheelhouse.

She's one of those people who will agree with things being said to her by others who are attempting to explain the wrongness of her actions. All this "Yes, that's right" and "Yes, correct, I did so, because..." - This is an attempt to make it appear as if everything she did and said was in earnest and therefore the blame rests upon anyone but her, because they just don't understand that she had it all laid out, exactly as it when down (except for the punch in the face), but the truth is that it shows she's a half-assed con artist and frankly, pretty damned stupid. No thinking person falls for such tactics.

I gave up trying to understand her and chalked it up to you can’t understand crazy. The whole time I was thinking, “Whatchu talkin’ ‘bout, Willis?”. The officers kept it under control. I’m sure I would have escalated the situation by laughing at her or something.

She put people in fear. She backed the manager up against a soda machine. She backed the security guard up into his office. This is a strong arm robbery all day long. Her intention was to use fear tactics, to get her cart full of stuff for "free". This is clearly a robbery (in Florida).

The cops in Ohio should have looked further into that angle.

The 2 day jail sentence was a travesty. She should be scrubbing prison toilets or peeling potatoes in the prison kitchen for the next 5-10 years.

Those officers had a lot of patience, a LOT of patience.

This lady knew exactly what she was doing. She was in that store late at night (time stamp looks like 2045hrs time frame), close to close (2100hrs) when they are lightly staffed. No higher level management in the store, and typically not a lot of witnesses.

I've heard the "I held my ground" before. The problem is almost EVERYONE that uses that line in a situation like this has moved forward. At that point you are advancing your line and forcing (<- important word) the other person to either hold theirs, or to retreat. As soon as she took the first step forward her entire argument for standing her ground was negated.

Even philosophically she blew it by escalating the narrative by yelling and screaming.

It's even more bizarre that she is in Ohio, a state that never had slavery and fought on the Union side in the Civil War. No Jim Crowe Laws ever existed there either. Ohio was a major part of the underground railroad helping slaves to freedom. Target is headquartered in Minneapolis, again similar.

Bottom line, she didn't get her way and she wasn't having it. She was going to force compliance.

I will say that the security guard needs some counseling on why we don't back ourselves into a corner, especially when doing so removes you from your support and additional witnesses. That was a bad decision on his part.
