That was his thinking when he met with De Blasio last year...

http://www.dailywire.com/news/...-and-michael-qazvini

At an event in New York City called “Building Progressive, Inclusive Cities,” Sadiq Khan, London’s London mayor, met with his counterpart in the Big Apple, far-left Mayor Bill de Blasio, and explained that urban dwellers should simply get used to jihadist rampages.

Terror attacks are “part and parcel of life in a big city,” Khan told the Evening Standard just hours after police foiled multiple terror attacks in New Jersey and New York.

Once hailed as a “progressive” Muslim that would inevitably challenge regressive Islamists, Khan is now echoing an excuse shared by European leaders across the West. After a series of terror attacks in France, the French Prime Minister told his countrymen that France “will have to live with terrorism.” In other words, terrorism is the new normal.

Khan’s surrender to the scourge of jihad comes the same day as the publication of the London mayor’s co-authored New York Times editorial, in which he praises the virtues of immigration alongside Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and New York City Mayor de Blasio.

“We call on world leaders to adopt a similar welcoming and collaborative spirit on behalf of the refugees all over the world...” write the three leftist big city leaders. “Our cities stand united in the call for inclusivity. It is part of who we are as citizens of diverse and thriving cities.”

Pads do not necessarily mean no pulse. Those are put on for many reasons, even as a method of monitoring.

From my training, AED's do not work unless there is a rhythm. Not sure about the units used by EMT's.

Yeah, it's called a defibrillator for a reason. It does not restore pulse to a heart that has stopped beating. It is meant to bring a heartbeat back to a normal rhythm and out of ventricular fibrillation.

Someone is going to have to kill a bunch of them sooner or later.

A. Big. Frikkin'. Bunch.

If this isn't already irreversible, it ought to be done sooner.

That mayor admitted as much in my judgment. No civilized people should accept his premise.

They longer they/we Neville Chamberlain this shit the uglier it will be.

Many countries are actively looking for/droning the ones that we know are actively fighting the west. Unless you mean before we know they are guilty in which case I can't agree with you. Certainly the west should be trying to figure out other ways to fight it. It certainly ain't free health care or some other mumbo jumbo.

While the entire incident is terrible, I have mixed feelings that the sumbitch did not use a gun.

If he had used a gun, it would be another incident where gun laws were not effective in eliminating terrorist attacks.

Since he did not use a gun, there (logically) cannot be more cries for more gun control.

Prayers to those injured for a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that the Officer has passed.

I am offended that the mayor of London said this is the new normal and get used to it. Maybe in his shithole but not here! Trump is right keep them out.

Matt Frei - Channel 4 News - states - he was

1. A known and convicted terrorist.

2. On a government watch list, and had

3. Escaped prosecution in spite of his outspoken views etc.

No shit, Sherlock?

Well now he's on EVERYBODY's watch list, especially those, like me, who watched his stinking corpse being wheeled away from the carnage he'd just caused, and the poor bloody copper he'd slaughtered.

Here, I'll post the story for you.

NBC Reporter Fears London Terror Will ‘Put Wind in the Sails’ of ‘Right-Wing Movement’

By Kyle Drennen | March 22, 2017 | 1:13 PM EDT

During MSNBC’s live breaking news coverage of the suspected terrorist attacks in London on Wednesday, NBC News reporter Matt Bradley reported via phone from the British capital and was more worried about the violence helping conservative politicians than he was about the victims: “We've seen this rise of a kind of a right-wing movement here and throughout Europe. And this is only going to put wind in the sails of those who would say that this is an issue that needs to be looked at, that needs to be examined in terms of refugees.”

Desperately trying to downplay any possible connection to Islamic terrorism, Bradley touted: “But it should be noted, that MI-5, which is the domestic intelligence agency and police agency for the UK, they've come out and said that there is no terror link so far.” Anchor Ali Velshi replied: “Yeah, good point. They’re saying that it's too early to say, certainly, that it isn't, they’re still trying to get it locked down.”

Only minutes later, London police announced that they were investigating the attacks as a “terrorist incident.”

Here is a transcript of the March 22 exchange:

11:22 AM ET

(...)

MATT BRADLEY [NBC NEWS]: But this is an incident that is obviously catching a city that's already been on edge. And everybody here in London, when they see these other incidents, these other terror attacks happening across Europe, they’re really just so much on edge waiting for the next foot to drop here.

And this is really going to have an impact on politics outside of that. You know, this is an issue that really is affecting so many people here in Britain. We've seen this rise of a kind of a right-wing movement here and throughout Europe. And this is only going to put wind in the sails of those who would say that this is an issue that needs to be looked at, that needs to be examined in terms of refugees – which is the conversation that's going on in the states.

But it should be noted, that MI-5, which is the domestic intelligence agency and police agency for the UK, they've come out and said that there is no terror link so far.

ALI VELSHI: Yeah, what they said here –

BRADLEY: And this is something obviously that they’re going to be investigating.

ALI VELSHI: Yeah, good point. They’re saying that it's too early to say, certainly, that it isn't, they’re still trying to get it locked down. Matt, stand by.

BRADLEY: Too early to say, right.

VELSHI: Stand by for me, Matt, because you’ve got great information for us.

Couldn't arrest him for his views?
I guess they weren't watching him, either...
