My mom is with my niece on a school trip to London with 20 other kids. They were at Parliament and Westminster bridge TODAY. Nobody in their party was hurt, but they were evacuated to their hotel. They were across the river when it all went down.

Holy shit.

The sidewalks on both sides of Westminster Bridge are 20 to 25 ft wide and usually loaded with tourists, all as I recall.
