I like the Mcribs. Always grab one or two when they hit streets. No, we don't have any around here yet either.

I've owned McDonalds stock since the early 90s. Everytime I eat there I vow to sell my stock but then I look at the fat gain and think maybe I'll buy a little more. Razz

So how's this morning's colonoscopy go?

Did the doc reach the duodenum?

We make a lot of fun about the "inverted" part of the pork rectums...but if you have ever tasted a pork rectum that HAS NOT been inverted, just left in its original non inverted state, that is some nasty tasting shit! By "inverting" them, the pork rectums taste and texture are greatly improved as well as removing most of the unwanted hair...thus their use in the higher quality offerings such as McRib...

However beef rectums as well as chicken rectums are not improved by the "inverting" process...that is why they are consumed by the lower classes...usually fat hotdogs that have been dyed bright red...

The jury is still out on inverting goat and duck rectums to improve their palatability.

Thus ends your "rectums as food" lesson for today.

Now after reading that...I'm positive I was served fake calamari made from pork rectums back in the 80s...I chewed my "calamari" for 10 minutes and swallowed it at least 5 times (before placing my second order...it was so cheap I couldn't pass it up)...now I know why Big Grin

I cooked McRibs in 1984. We found them delectable when we grabbed the butter from breakfast, toasted the buns after slathering butter all over them, and grilling the quarter pounder onions.
