Cyber-friend rescued this tool that was being discarded by a school. I can't quite picture what it is for, other than some sort of swage perhaps. Interchangeable ends numbered 1-50, #50 is 15/16ths diameter. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Nothing beats a good Wensleydale... "I vowed to myself to fight against evil more completely and more wholeheartedly than I ever did before. . . . That’s the only way to pay back part of that vast debt, to live up to and try to fulfill that tremendous obligation." Alfred Hornik, Sunday, December 2, 1945 to his family, on his continuing duty to others for surviving WW II.

They look like mandrels for forming a flare/chamfer in a hollow tube of some sort. What application there is for such a thing is still a mystery.

That's what I thought when I looked at it. The kind that flares up the ends of copper piping for brass connectors. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

This certainly makes sense coming from a school where they probably had a band and music courses. Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club! USN (RET), COTEP #192

Frambis expanders. If you're goin' through hell, keep on going. Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there. NRA ENDOWMENT LIFE MEMBER

Hey, I knew they were mandrels for something. Something like that (in principle) would be used by gunsmiths to get dents out of shotgun barrels.

It's all about the cheese. Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. "If dogs don't go to Heaven, I want to go where they go" Will Rogers The definition of the words we used, carry a meaning of their own...
