I find I recall the humerous jabs seperate from his off forum despicable and reprehensible behavior.

I first realized my membership had been approved around the same time he made his now-infamous thread. Unlike him, I joined and then promptly set aside the login info and went back to the real world as I naturally assumed it wasn't going to be approved any time soon (an assumption based on the existence of the email provider filter).

It was then that I first got a taste of what it's like to be part of the actual membership of this fine forum, up to and including when Para gets fed up and unsheathes his talons (and how long it takes for that to happen - as I recall the guy was given a LOT of opportunities to just simply change his thread title to omit "FUCKING" and Para would have initially been satisfied, but just kept digging). Dude was unhinged from the start.

I also remember when Para dug his thread out of the archives and stickied it for all to see. I assumed it was due to something happening elsewhere on the web, but never knew the details. I did remember finding his site filled with incoherent ramblings about Para and LBJ at this time, as I was trying to figure out what would happen for the thread to be brought out of storage. I guess now I know.

Cliffy. Yup, I remember that name.

And I remember how much it pissed me off when lbj had to step aside due to his bullshit. Lbj granted me my cut, and I've always had a soft spot for him and his family.

Cliffy was just plain nuts. I stayed away from that mess. Popcorn only.

We still have that thread.
I doubt we would bring it back now that he's dead, there really is no reason too.

You know...I never went looking for that site. I also never went looking for the Island of Misfits' site a few years prior.

This is home. And piss on anyone who tries to mess with it. I don't even want to give them the satisfaction of a website hit count.
