^ The site stickman linked, along with a few others, claim that the bikes are titled & road-ready in the US.
It's nowhere near a near-future purchase for me, just like to wishlist them & window shop.

That importer handles all the title and registration issues. When they sell it to you it is refurbished and 100% street legal....but they are not cheap! $8-9k is steep for such a small displacement machine but to me it would be worth it.

Parts support is made MUCH easier thanks to the internet. Machines that were exported to other markets like the U.K. and not JDM only will be even easier to maintain since you will have even more avenues/websites/vendors to pursue for parts.
