I want to express my deepest condolences for the loss of your son. You and your family will be in my prayers. Hopefully you will lean on God as you go through the grieving process.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I suppose healing this hole will happen but it will be a very long time. That horrible image is something no one should have to see but is burned into my memory. Times are very tough right now. Still not back in the house yet. Maybe later today. At least the wife didn't see anything.

I truly appreciate being able to confide in the forum. All the responses help me keep it together somewhat. So thank all of you.

I never know what to say so I rarely respond to anything like this. I felt like I should in your case. If you need to chat or talk please let me know.

Steve,
I am so sorry to hear this. The loss of a son, especially this way, is beyond tragic and heartbreaking.

As the father of a child that committed suicide (in a bathroom also) I can understand your pain. It has been since Dec 27, 2017 and the pain is getting less but the memory will always be there.

Sorry to hear. Suicide takes too many and far too often we don’t see it coming.
