Seems like Trump's got some real professional marketing people working for him, people that have worked in business, not just politics.

A 100 year old Tuskeegee Airmen Colonel, promoted to Brigadier General, and his great-grandson tagged for the space program. Genius move, and completely non-political, just awesome all around.

Dang, I missed the speech because my wife has the flu. Gonna look online. Pelosi, the most contempted and contemptible.

Have to admit to a bit of emotion at the Presidential Medal of Freedom award for Rush. If the Left only knew of the millions and millions of dollars he has raised for charitable causes over the years...
it probably wouldn’t matter, but it would show them as more petty than they already present themselves to be.

I've never sat through a SOTU, I was glued to the set start to finish. I guess this was that odd disturbance I heard --

Fred Guttenberg, father of Parkland shooting victim, escorted out of gallery during State of the Union

Fred Guttenberg, who lost his 14-year-old daughter in the Parkland, Florida, school shooting, was escorted out of the gallery during President Donald Trump's State of the Union speech on Tuesday.

The dramatic moment unfolded as the president mentioned that he would protect gun rights. Guttenberg was heard shouting from the speaker's box as the president spoke and he was quickly removed from the audience by a plainclothes police officer...

He was Pelosi's guest, I guess that's why she was staring daggers. As generally upset as she was, she was really pissed here. My takeaway is she does care what is thought of her, good.

Priceless.

Pelosi ripping up the President's speech is just more proof that TDS is real!

Put the gavel down Nancy and back away from the podium. You can catch the bus back to obscurity and sit in the corner with a stiff drink thinking about when you were last relevant....

AOC and the "squad" have given you permission. You can do it......

There was video of Trump handing her the speech at the beginning and turning away as she reached out her hand to shake his. It is hard to tell if he did it on purpose, or if he just didn't see her hand.

Either way, she let her emotions get the best of her, and didn't show leadership ability that would be needed if god help us anything really bad actually happened that required her to do anything of substance. She is #3 in the line of succession but I can't imagine her as President...

I am amazed at some of the things our elected representatives and senators thought they could remain sitting for. Since when did it become partisan to cheer for Americans?

I was wondering too. It looked like they were holding up 3 fingers.

Link to Senate Republicans Twitter video of Pelosi tearing up the speech.

She exhibited a lot of symptoms.

This is not a shot at her appearance.

He set the bar high because he demands the best from himself, and others that work for him. Mediocre is not in his vocabulary. We have not had anyone like him before, he is a CEO, and acts like it, something this country has always needed. Probably one of the best speeches I have heard, the dims made themselves seem smaller, and act like spoiled little children, screw them.

I loved when he snubbed Pelosi's hand (who know's where it's been).
My TV screen got a little misty when the announced the Tuskegee Airman was being promoted to Brigadier General.
It's a shame that no one in the Democratic party told everyone when they were supposed to clap. They looked very confused.
WTF were the white dressed women yelling and raising their arms for?

This was the BEST SOTU address I have ever heard, from the best President I have ever had.

My wife doesn’t follow as closely as I, but she was very turned off by the behavior of Pelosi. I had to explain all the white also, female Dems garb.

That response from the MI Gov was just more nonsense too. She tried to tout accomplishments of Democrat Governors. Besides Trump, the Dems need to lose the House next fall too.

Can you imagine how difficult it must be for Pelosi and her clan to have to decide in a split second, when to clap and when to ignore? "Oh, geez, he just said something about helping black people! Do I ignore that or applaud?" He even gave her a copy of the speech, so she could stay a paragraph ahead and she still looked confused. Of all the accomplishments of the Trump administration, the one that I appreciate the most is how it demonstrates on a daily basis, how small, vindictive and petty is the Left in this country.
