It seems like no good deed goes unpunished because the perp who tried to pull his own gun to shoot Rittenhouse, has sued him.

The perp, who I call Misty because of the spray from his bicep after Rittenhouse shot in self defense, has sued claiming that there was some sort of collaboration between Five 0 and Rittenhouse or they allowed people like Rittenhouse to be there with a firearm.

The discovery on this is going to be priceless.

Misty sues Kyle

This a civil suit?
Not a surprise, we knew everybody would take a number and claim a civil judgement against him. Hopefully there's some wealthy conservatives who've been able to cover his legal costs.

In the hand of the arm this leftist POS nearly had blown off, he held a Glock and was still holding it after he was shot.

All one has to do is watch the video of the incident to understand how all of this played out. This jerk is lucky he wasn't killed. As far as I'm concerned, he had it coming.

"Misty" (aka: Gaige Grosskreutz ["Gaige?"]) admitted, under oath, chasing-down Rittenhouse and pointing a gun at him. It's a matter of record

From the article linked in the OP:

"That’s not the kind of person that I [Misty] am. That’s not why I was out there," he said when asked why he didn’t shoot Rittenhouse first. "It’s not who I am. And definitely not somebody I would want to become."

Rittenhouse's counsel needs to ask about that quote, then ask these two questions:

Then why did you have a Glock 19 in your hand?

Then why did you point it at Rittenhouse?

Given his previous sworn testimony he cannot answer these questions in a manner supportive of his case.

This is quite rich...

quote:
Gaige Grosskreutz, who testified he pointed a firearm at Rittenhouse before the then-teenager shot Grosskreutz and two others, is seeking economic losses, "damages for emotional distress, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and other pain and suffering on all claims," and punitive damages.

During the trial, Grosskreutz testified that he was pointing his own pistol at Rittenhouse before the then-17-year-old shot Grosskreutz in the arm.

Rittenhouse, who was found not guilty in November 2021, told Fox News Digital that the lawsuit came as "a little bit of a shock."

"I guess it came as a shock to why he's filing a lawsuit because he admitted that he pointed a gun in my face and that he chased me down," Rittenhouse added.

Sounds like a frivolous lawsuit to me...Maybe Kyle Rittenhouse (and his attorneys) ought to hold 'Misty' (and his attorneys) to account!

He’ll get $50k to go away.

It’s the unfortunate way that lawsuits work.

This is a case of "I was going to kill you, but you hurt me, so now I'm the victim". Roll Eyes

Rittenhouse should file a countersuit claiming the same thing. Clearly his life was flipped upside down by this guys actions and his lame testimony in the criminal trial.

I'd like to see how Mr. Grosskreutz is going to explain why he had a firearm in his possession while he was participating in a riot that included assaults on police and arson, how he managed to be over Rittenhouse at the moment in question, and why his firearm was in his hand pointed at the person he is suing.

I hope Kyle's legal team does the countersuit. Would be fun to watch Misty squirm once his case is tossed and Kyle's remains.

Yeah, they can confiscate the guy's property, which consists of an iPhone, a skateboard and a bong.

Not necessarily. IMHO "Kenosha Lefty" (my own term of affection for Misty) could easily have a bad enough case that Rittenhaus' lawyers would counsel him to be willing to go to court over it. Rittenhaus doesn't need a settlement out there that other tort lawyers could claim was an acknowledgement of either guilt or at least uncertainty that he was right to fire the rifle.

His case is so weak, with his previous testimony and with clear video evidence, I think Rittenhouse and his lawyers might tell him "See you in court."

He should have tried this when passions against Rittenhouse were still running high, but all of that momentum is long gone.

Let it go to trial, then after he loses, counter-sue him and take his skateboard.

Agree with the others that after this one is dismissed, he oughta sue fuckface for emotional damages, defamation and whatever else for making him shoot him.

I don’t think Rittenhouse has any money either but the suit makes a reference to the city not doing a competent job protecting the public from random people running around with guns.
Doesn’t make that much sense since he also had his Glock (illegally as I recall).
I suspect he will also be filing against the city, since that’s where the money is.

IIRC, misty was quoted in an interview after the fact that his biggest regret was not blowing Kyle's head off.

Considering misty had a gun in Kyle's face just prior to the unbelievably excellent shot by Kyle on misty's bicep, I believe misty was in the process at the time.

If I read this unfortunate (for misty) interview, I'm pretty sure Kyle's attorneys can dig it up.

Oh, BTW... I believe misty was a prohibited person with a firearm at the time.
Does that count for anything these days?
