When Leftists stuff the ballot box by gerrymandering, offering free shit to freeloaders from other states to draw them into yours, and provide similar incentives to those violating national immigration laws, it limits the ability of law abiding Americans to respond effectively. I spent the first 60+ years of my life in California, but left when it became obvious that conservatives like myself couldn't "stay and fight" because we believe in the rule of law and the opposition doesn't. What good does my vote do, when there could be five fraudulent votes against mine that will never be investigated or result in prosecution? As an American citizen, I have the right to move to any state I want and unfortunately, in the case of California (barring federal intervention) it became a necessity. It is not so much an entire state being blue, its the population centers and their voting (and cheating) that tilt in favor of the libs. I am certain that there are many conservatives in California and Oregon. They are overwhelmed by the big cities who vote blue. Michigan is an excellent example of this. I would guess Georgia is too. So if you are going to try to move to avoid the insanity, a move to a conservative area within your state may work. Maybe. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

This is the best balance I've been able to achieve so far. But even here is somewhat shaky ground (pun intended ). "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." L.Tolstoy "A government is just a body of people, usually, notably, ungoverned." Shepherd Book

At some point everyone has to make their choice. I have NOT ran into, or seen evidence of ANTIFA where I live. There's a few whacky liberals...but here they're mostly libertarians. I can nearly always get along with them. ANTIFA is communist, they are the radicalized terrorists being used for multiple purposes. Once a local government starts protecting and supporting them...that's usually the line for many people, like myself, to leave the area. I saw this coming in the Salem area, and got the F out. Oregonians hiding in conservative areas made their choice. I don't knock them, but they're going to deal with fighting for their rights in more extreme ways than I do. I hear concealed carry is on the chopping block again. I'm closer in age to the man in the video than I am to the riotous felons who attacked him. I don't want to live in an area where the officers I love and support would treat me like they treated him. That's what it comes down to for me. I don't want my children/grandchildren to see their grandfather treated like that. I refuse to allow felons to victimize me, and I'm quite certain that encounter would have gone differently for me. THAT is why I choose, as a still free American, to live in a state where that crap isn't happening. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The trouble with our Liberal friends...is not that they're ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so." What's funny about that statement is that you somehow think in red states, that shit doesn't happen too. Here in the red state of Oklahoma, we had a decorated retired Army Colonel named Steve Russell who lost his seat to a democRAT Kendra Horn. She had backing from Soros, Bloomberg and her campaign used every leftist tactic in the book and she beat Russell handily. By your logic, the people in that district should have moved to another "more red" state and baled out. Instead, people stood their ground and voted in a conservative Republican Stephanie Bice who ousted Horn out of her seat and the district remains red. VICTORY.
Fixed it for ya.
Remind's me of that song by Tammy Wynette "I never promised you a Rose Garden". We're not talking about a Dungeons & Dragon's club here. We are literally talking about the freedom of our country. Walking away from one of the largest and most innovative states in the country because you faced some adversity? Sounds to me like you didn't really care much, one way or another about your home state if you were willing to quit, and leave it and fellow conservatives to fend for themselves, with even fewer numbers to support them. Have you ever thought what it might be like if instead of pissing down their leg and running away, if every native Californian stood their ground and organized some resistance to this liberal bullshit? Every time a person bails on their home state because of leftist opposition, it makes it that much harder for the conservatives who remain. In the military, it's called desertion.
Yes indeed, you have the right to relocate anywhere you want. You also have the right to bury your head in the sand and ignore what's going on around you. What I find particularly amusing is noting your location is "The Free State of Arizona"... Just wondering, did you bother to unpack yet? The reason I ask is because Arizona USED TO BE a reliable red state, now it's pretty much purple. I suppose in the next few years, you'll be packing up and heading to Texas next. Your ilk has let California turn blue, Arizona will soon follow... Naturally, you will likely rationalize all the wonderful reasons to bail out and leave the remaining conservatives to fend for themselves. Now, I fully understand, people have legitimate reasons to move from one state to another. Sometimes its to be closer to family. It could be career requirements/opportunities, etc. But when someone bails on their home state for no other reason than liberal resistance, I will once again point out thats being seriously short sited. Every state we let turn blue is another nail in the coffin. Somebody has to stand up to the blue wave, lest it drown us all.

Interesting choice... To some, it would be strong incentive to get more involved and vote these people out using the same tactics the liberals use... But ya, cut & run... That's easier I guess.
In so doing, any remaining conservatives in that area are left with even less support. Plus, wherever you moved to, you'd likely do the same all over agin if you saw organized leftists in your new home.
Yeah, like getting involved and organizing people of like mind, knocking on doors getting petitions circulated for recalls, all that stuff that we do in red states. I guess we'd expect to carry the water for the incoming blue staters too, since it's an awful lot of work an all.
Why bother? It's so much easier to just pack a few boxes and call U-Haul. Maybe that's the solution to everything. We should've tried that in WWI and WWII. I bet if Patton were alive today, you'd have him rethinking his entire stratagem. Those Panzers and Tigers were bigger than the US tanks of the day, Let 'em have Africa. They're pretty entrenched in Europe, better not go there! Or, maybe Patton would just slap ya!
