True. It would be easier if they would... but it would take a Constitutional amendment. The Constitution provides that an amendment may be proposed either by the Congress with a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate or by a constitutional convention called for by two-thirds of the State legislatures. None of the 27 amendments to the Constitution have been proposed by constitutional convention. The Congress proposes an amendment in the form of a joint resolution. Since the President does not have a constitutional role in the amendment process, the joint resolution does not go to the White House for signature or approval. The Archivist submits the proposed amendment to the States for their consideration by sending a letter of notification to each Governor along with the informational material prepared by the OFR. The Governors then formally submit the amendment to their State legislatures or the state calls for a convention, depending on what Congress has specified. In the past, some State legislatures have not waited to receive official notice before taking action on a proposed amendment. When a State ratifies a proposed amendment, it sends the Archivist an original or certified copy of the State action, which is immediately conveyed to the Director of the Federal Register. A proposed amendment becomes part of the Constitution as soon as it is ratified by three-fourths of the States (38 of 50 States). "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

He is as compromised as any Democrat. But I will say that I am as grateful as I am shocked that he held the line for President Trump's SCOTUS nominees. I don't know what possessed him to be an American during that time, but I am very, very thankful for his moment of clarity and strength. I am still deeply concerned that he and his wife owe too much to Xi Jinping. .

I think Andy Barr would clean Booker's clock. Booker is a loudmouth radical who only appeals to a number of Louisville residents, and I suppose Lexington as well. And there is the unspoken thing, too.

Yet his office put out word the other day that, while hospitalized, he is still hard at work for the people of Kentucky and the US. They're all liars. It's in the job description. And when is his wife going to be charged with violating the Logan Act? ________________________________________________________ It is long past time for a Convention of States. Kentucky is a weird political animal. In some ways, we are behind the times politically. In the last several election cycles, PACs and Super PACs dumped a ton of money in radio and TV ads. And it never moved the needle. The lines followed predictable break downs. People here genuinely fear becoming California. Outside Louisville and Lexington, you are hard pressed to get elected with a D next to your name in local races. The thing that made Little Andy successful is he comes across bland. He hasn’t really accomplished much with super majorities in both chambers of government being against him. He carried a lot of Republican votes in his reelection bid because he doesn’t take controversial stances. When it was rumored he was on the short list to be Harris VP, he distanced himself from it. He knew it was a political death sentence. ________________ People hate you. Train like it.

If as I expect from some “X” website info, McConnell has gone onto that “big roll call vote up yonder”, I would expect this to be the sequence now. As both Dems and Repubs are in active campaign for the November 2026 election to select the vacating seat, it wouldn’t be advisable to appoint either candidate as an interim office holder. Beshear’s term as KY Governor ends in December 2027. It’s not unheard of for a Governor to appoint himself to fill a vacant Senate seat, and this is what I’d expect him to do. Beshear is running for the Dem Presidential nomination in 2028. Appointing himself gives him 6 months on the national stage as a Senator to get more exposure. In 2027, the KY Governor election will overshadow the political scene in Kentucky. The current LtGov is a Dem who has announced for KY Gov. With Beshear appointing himself, LtGov advances to Gov, and this gives her a leg up over any Dem challengers. Beshear appointing himself to the vacant seat for the 6-month term, which ends on January 3, 2027 with a new Senator elected in November, short-circuits the problem of having to call for a Special Election to fill the seat. Repubs will go along with this as it gets Beshear out of Ky Gov office as the Repubs will focus all to elect a Republican Gov in November 2027. Currently, only a non-entity is runner for the Republican nomination as focus is on the Congressional elections in 2026, so folks are waiting for the shake-out from that. --------------------- DJT-45/47 MAGA !!!!! “Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum videtur.” "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on, or by imbeciles who really mean it." — Mark Twain “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.” — H. Which would be cool if Beshear had a say in it. As of 2024, he does not. https://apnews.com/article/ken...1a435ac52515c67d8f0e ________________ People hate you. Train like it.

Being pushed by that Laura “Lunatic” Loomer, from her “high level source”. Scott Jennings debunks rumors that McConnell is brain dead, “We talked for just shy of 20 minutes” By Jim Hᴏft | Jul. 7, 2026 12:40 pm Former McConnell staffer and CNN pundit Scott Jennings rushed to X on Tuesday to debunk growing rumors that hospitalized RINO Senator Mitch McConnell is brain dead. Jennings posted that he spoke to his “old friend” McConnell for 20 minutes while the 84-year-old Kentucky senator recovers in the hospital. They discussed Iran, Ukraine, the unfolding situation in Maine, Jennings’ visit to the TR Presidential Library, and Senate history. Jennings wrote on X:
The post was clearly an attempt to push back against widespread online speculation, including from prominent conservative voices, that McConnell is brain-dead or on life support following his latest medical emergency. Laura Loomer wrote on X:
