A Ford Maverick, been 6 months they have my deposit , but still no Truck. Dealer blows you off when you inquire about it.

The Maverick is a good sales disaster for Ford. Over 100,000 reservations at one point. They closed 2022 orders sometime around Christmas and will not open up 2023 model year orders until this June at the earliest... maybe August depending on how badly the world is falling apart. I am stumped on where they are sourcing all the batteries they need for their hybrid model. My REAAL concern is quality. It's a relatively affordably priced vehicle.... and I'm not sure those things will go to 150k miles without major repair bills.

You think this is bananas. Used Tesla Model 3s are at times MORE expensive than buying a new one. That's right. Used are more expensive than a new one in some places. Train how you intend to Fight Remember - Training is not sparring. Sparring is not fighting. Fighting is not combat.

Back in July I got on the local Toyota dealer's list for a 2021 4Runner. A couple weeks later in early August, they were allocated some 2022 models from the factory, one of which met my requirements so I gave them a deposit. Truck was built in Japan the end of August and arrived on the west coast of the US near the end of September. I took delivery here in Ohio on 11/4. For me it was worth the wait since I got it for under MSRP.
