As I see it, there are two alternatives. One is to have the blue flu. The other is worse, strict enforcement. Particularly in the minority regions. "Those" folks aren't used to obeying the laws, any laws. Just start arresting them for every violations they see. Fill the ticket books. Like crazy. Let the minority mayors void the tickets. After a reasonable period, just stop writing. See how they like it. But this isn't something new. Just worse this cycle.

Agreed on the "Blue Flu". People in this Country need a wake up call.

I had to laugh over the Officer who quit, then called and told them thay had an hour to get their car and his gear!

One of the guys I worked with would muse about winning big bucks with a LOTTO ticket. Then he'd buy the agency and burn it down. Always made me laugh.

I'm another one, SO HAPPY to have the job behind me. Doubt I could put up with all this BS anymore.

I had an acquaintance that did a couple of years volunteer work in South Africa. He said the local joke was "Johannesburg is like Gotham City without Batman".

A buddy of mine said he listened to the scanner channel for district 6 in Atlanta for 15 minutes and not a word was said.

I love the idea, but another possibility is the ones still there switched to encrypted channels. Our entire agency switched all dispatch groups to encrypted when all this kicked off for safety.

According to what I have read, the surrounding agencies are refusing to respond too.
