There was a post some months about a full length steel plate you screw onto your door jam (and into studs) to bolster it's strength.
I haven't had luck finding the item so I'm trying to find the link that the poster shared. Can anyone help?

chongosuerteGood stuff. Most break ins are through a forced door. Many will go on the first good kick.
I’ve got Door Armor and extra 3” screws in other doors. Medeco locks, too. I also have one of the shields that protect from someone pulling the garage release, and the garage entry door is hardened. And it all stays locked.
Very important part of a layered system (dog, alarm, etc).
Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.
Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

gocatgoI got one for each exterior door called the Door Devil. Looks sturdy, and has good reviews. They are online, a small company in Rockwall TX I think.

jimmy123xScrew all that, you live in Florida. Go to a impact rated fiberglass front door and frame with 3" tapcons into the concrete. Much more secure than adding what you want to add. Can't lift it off of the hinges with the door closed, even if you pull the pins out.
