Not dress, but casual, light weight, cool. Something that is durable, and won't break the bank. Preferably not cotton. "Practice like you want to play in the game"

Merino wool year 'round here. They aren't cheap, but good ones last and they are worth it. ________________________________________________________ It is long past time for a Convention of States. Darn Tough, they are not cheap but they will last you 10x longer than the cheap ones. I still wear wool if I am wearing socks, even in summer.

Definitely merino wool. I have quite a few pairs of Darn Tough. Good socks. Very pleased with the quality. Lifetime warranty. Will never spend another cent with them.

Mid or light weight SmartWool. I’ve been liking Altera sock made from alpaca fibers as well. Good sale currently. Do not send me to a heaven where there are no dogs. Step Up or Stand Aside: Support the Troops ! Expectations are premeditated disappointments.

Merino or Alpaca. Once you’ve worn those, cotton will always feel wet and gross. _________________________ You do NOT have the right to never be offended.

https://www.cloudlineapparel.c...llections/mens-socks https://point6.com/collections/mens-womens-socks I like and wear socks from these two companies all year. It's a matter of finding the style, weight, and height of sock that suits your needs and both places cover the gamut from lightweight running to heavyweight hiking. Personally, I seek socks with the highest Merino wool percentage. Sign up for their notifications as they have sales throughout the year which can be quite a savings, especially if you are looking to try a few before buying a bunch. I use to wear Darn Tough socks but they don't last for me. I'm not an overly active person and to have spots worn bare in a year or less, within a seven sock rotation, was disappointing. I did use their return policy once and got a couple replacement pairs, but they wore just as quickly as the others. Other people seem to have better results with their original purchase.

I dug around and found a few more pair of new socks in my inventory. So I am going to hold of in purchasing new for now. A couple good suggestions I will keep handy for later. Thanks all. "Practice like you want to play in the game"
