I will continue to my my job in the best possible manner. The revenue generated as a result of my individual and team effort will continue to allow me and my fellow employees to earn an honest living while enjoying a diversity of opinion on matters, such as the silly nature of this question.

We've been forced to sit through an "implicit bias" webinar, led by an expert in the subject, where I learned that apparently I'm a racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQ Visigoth without even knowing it.

I also learned that there's REALLY good money to be made by perpetuating the idea that everyone is a racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQ Visigoth if you're an "expert in the subject" who can peddle that crap to the .gov and lead webinars preaching it for thousands of dollars, to employees who are forced to sit through it.

I'm pretty sure that one of those lessons is more valuable than the other.

Holy catfish! I knew there were advantages to being self-employed, but I obviously had no clue.

My reply would doubtless get me fired, “I will endeavor to diversify my employment to a position that is not inclusive of this ridiculous feline feces.” This nonsense is far below either feces of the male of the bovine species or feces of the equine species. Truthfully, it may even be below feces of the feline species.

Thank goodness I was self-employed for twenty years, in the trucking business no less. No PC attitudes required.

Now I work in the office of a trucking company as the accounting manager. Not a day goes by that I don't hear something that would make a SJW melt down. If I got asked a question like the OP, I'd walk out that day.

Sad for you that you do accounting. Accountant's aren't allowed to have personality or social skills (ask my wife, she married one Smile )

I was just told to produce a documented list of every instance of "non-inclusive" language in all of our source code repositories and documentation. Three generations of server products going back to 2009.

We have been using the Philips I2C standard since the first products we every build. Every single one of them has source code that uses the "master/slave" nomenclature.

I have to document a file name and line number for every instance. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? For what? You think we're going to change code and re-compile drivers for 10 year old products? And you think our customers want this? You think we're going to re-test 10 year old system?

This shit is out of control. They want it all changed to "primary/subordinate".

I got a big long list of language that can't be used. Blacklist is out, but "black screen" is ok. Who the fuck is making these rules?

Obviously, someone(s) who is/are not a coder. Tell them you can't find any. Let them find them, and do the work to "fix" them. If they persist, tell them it's a ridiculous requirement and the company can't afford the time or the money to do what they ask.

Just today I was importing some data and I pulled it into a table I named import-master.
Guess I have to redo it and spend another half day reimporting.
The chances of that happening are zero.
