That is some masterful next-level bullshit corporate speak right there... Modern Day Savage stops to copy/paste this gem. I know who I will be contacting when the need for corporate woke-speak comes up.
I'm going to save a variation of this idea as well for when the inevitable need arises.

I think I'll incorporate some of these suggestions in the oral part of my review. The boss comments on my comments in written form and then we meet to discuss the whole thing. Hopefully it doesn't even come up then. Thanks all. Year V

Bull Durham, 1988 Crash: You're gonna have to learn your cliches. You're gonna have to study them, you're gonna have to learn them, you're gonna have to know them. They're your friends. Write this down: "We gotta play 'em one day at a time." Nuke: [writing] "Got to play..." Pretty boring. Crash: Of course it's boring, that's the point. Write it down.

Legalize the Constitution |
Things like this were part and parcel of my federal career. I lived with Affirmative Action from my first day to my last. During the Obama years it was made clear to me that people like me were not needed or wanted. Every time I hear the phrase “white privilege” and “patriarchal society,” I roll my eyes. If we were sitting around a table, I could tell some stories... _______________________________________________________ despite them

My answer would be to "treat EVERYONE as an equal, and in a fair manor" This is something I personally do with everyone I meet ever day till they prove me otherwise. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. We got a new CEO a couple years ago now, a younger guy. Overall he's been pretty good, but after the George Floyd incident he went over the top. Now we have a new Senior VP for "Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility". Hell, we never even had a department/division/whatever like that before, and now within a couple of months it's become the new corporate emphasis. Everything, absolutely everything the company does, now includes a "How does this idea advance DEIA?" overtone. The VP is, of course, a black woman. And she absolutely LIVES for this shit. Now that she has power she's determined to impose it on everybody and grind any malcontents into dust beneath her boots. Everybody is being required to take 8 hours of "training" every quarter. There's a list of articles that we're "encouraged" to read (on our own time of course), with titles like "Why not being racist isn't enough". I've got 19 years in with the company as of 2 weeks ago. I honestly don't know if I can hold my nose long enough to make it to 20. Of course I can't say a damn thing about it, or I'd instantly become a target for HR. Oregon is not a right-to-work state and if I so much as said "I have a little problem with this whole DEIA thing..." I'd be fired before I took another breath. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT a racist. I don't give a shit what color or religion you are or who you sleep with or any of that crap. But I am sick and tired of having the whole "systemic racism" thing shoved down my throat when I have never in my life acted in a way that would be considered racist. But you know what? They're doing their best to turn me into one.

In the annual "social justice - equality - diversity" training at the college, one room had a large poster on the wall, "we take claims of victimization at face value, no proof is needed". They were serious. One quarter they sent out a campus wide police alert, emailed to all faculty/staff, someone claimed they heard an anti-LGBT word spoken in one of the parking garages. "Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women. When it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it....While it lies there, it needs no constitution, no law, no court to save it" - Judge Learned Hand, May 1944

Do you HAVE to answer it? I wouldn't give the official "woke" response and I wouldn't blast them either. If you do have to answer just say you treat everyone the SAME, period. Good luck.

We're not to far away from where you're at. Every one of our bi-monthly Town Hall meetings so far, have included some 'insight' from the VP of Inclusion and Diversity along with her minions who, like many in HR, have zero understanding or, connection with what we do or, produce. Its amazing the number of people who've shifted over from whatever department they started in, to get onboard with the I&D Dept or, the various committees they've asked people to join, give 'talks' and show how the company is progressing At some point, our annual reviews, like Keystoner is dealing with, what actions are we doing to support the I&D goals and company values. A simple vague answer would be one thing; if they're requiring actionable goals/objectives would be something else. I usually lift some language that's been used prior and work that into a statement. Its all about using keywords and phrasing.
