I was only 6 or 7 YOA at the time, but as I recall, my NYPD relatives stacked up quite a few corpses of Black Panthers terrorists in the 60s and early 70s. That was during the last time the dems/socialists/libs picked a fight with the police and called for their abolishment.

Mayor Adams said he will reinstate the anti crime units and increase funding of the NYPD. BLM is saying they will riot if he does. After surrendering sanity and control for the last two years the left is going to find it much harder to regain some control. I expect riots and more anti police pushback from the media.

Mayor Adams is going to learn that the legislative changes in NY wont be so easy to undo and arresting your way out of this ain't going to work with the Commies who work in the D.A.s office who won't file charges on the suspects. Their entire being/existence, revolves around themselves and making sure they stand-out: hair-style, piercings, non-mainstream clothing, etc... THey're expecting 'normies' to make comments about their appearance and thus, they can 'trigger' themselves and get worked up into a frenzy of self-righteousness. When they aren't being singled-out or, being the center of attention, they'll manufacture something, anything so everyone's attention is returned to them.

It's a weird narcissistic/persecution complex

The incident unfolded before 9 p.m. on Saturday evening in Walnut Creek, which is about 25 miles outside San Francisco. A local reporter tweeted footage of the scene and said about 25 cars pulled up outside of the Nordstrom before running in, grabbing merchandise and fleeing.

It’s unclear how much merchandise was stolen, NBC News reported. Walnut Creek Police Department said that one employee was pepper sprayed and two others were kicked and punched. They were treated and released on the scene.

What's "insane" about what is almost certainly an oppressed class clearly seeking equity?

Organized crime not looters. Similar organized groups hit the local malls during the BLM Riots here in the Seattle area.

If employees were pepper sprayed, kicked, and punched, it was no longer “shoplifting” or “looting,” but rather robbery, and possibly armed robbery under the statutes I’m familiar with. Those used to be serious offenses, but as we sink lower and lower into third worldom, who cares?

Given the supply chain problems, BLM has announced that there will be no more riots until the store shelves are properly stocked.

The thefts are misdemeanors now, aren't they? But according to a Dirty Harry movie, isn't conspiracy to commit misdemeanors become a felony?
