This absolutely I have my great great grandfather’s Winchester 25-35 in my safe for this absolute reason. There is no resale monetary value to it as the barrel is shot Out. Howeve, to me, it’s a priceless piece because there are many aspects that make it dear to me Heirloom has a family history imo

| Before WWII my mother worked for RockOla making juke boxes. Went the war started they started making Carbines so Mom switched from music boxes to guns. I have one of her Carbines in almost as new condition. My FIL gave me his Winchester M-1 rifle. My point is my grandsons are not interested. My granddaughter is! As a matter of fact is is named after her.
